Postponement has been decided for the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai.
The new dates are being arranged.
Please note that the followings are the information before the postponement was confirmed.

Tennis is played in singles (one-on-one) or doubles (two-on-two), and players rally a ball over a net using a racket to win more points than the opponent. Players play individually or in teams. Apart from the court size and the order of serving / receiving, doubles matches are played in the same way as singles matches.

* The age category to be entered must be either the player’s age or a younger age or the player at the time of the Games.
* Players cannot participate in both singles and doubles that are held in different venues.
* Players can participate in one category of the singles and in one category of the doubles.
* The age of the youngest player will determine the doubles age category.

1.General category participants
* Anyone aged 30 years old or older (born on or before 31st December 1992) can participate (provided, however, entries are on a first-come, first-served basis)
2.Wheelchair and Quad participants
* Anyone aged 30 years old or older (born on or before 31st December 1992) who have registered with the following conditions of (1) or (2) and are able to prepare a tennis wheelchair specified on (3) below can participate (however, provided that entries are on a first-come, first-served basis)
　(1) Japanese nationals who wish to participate in wheelchair and quad tennis must register with the Japan Wheelchair Tennis Association before applying to participate.
　(2) Overseas nationals who wish to participate in wheelchair and quad tennis must complete one of the following procedures (but procedure A can only be applied to those who wish to participate in the quad tennis) and attach a PDF file of the relevant documents when applying for participation.
　* Athletes may be asked to submit documents as needed.
　　a) Registration with IPIN (player registration system with the International Tennis Federation)
　　b) Player registration with the National Federation in one’s own country
　　c) Submission of a public certificate or doctor's certificate that can confirm lower limb impairments.
　(3) Participants in wheelchair tennis and quad tennis can only participate in a tennis wheelchair to ensure safety.

Age Requirement

Minimum age is 30 (as at 31st December 2022) (born on or before 31st December 1992)

　One hour before the first day of the match for each category, type and grade
　* The match time will be announced in the Order of Play on the day before.

[Reception]
　Headquarters at each venue for each category, type and grade

[Remarks]
　The Order of Play will be announced in the venue or on the official website for the tennis competition one day before.
　The announcement time will differ depending on the progress of the matches on the day.
