Postponement has been decided for the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai.
The new dates are being arranged.
Please note that the followings are the information before the postponement was confirmed.

A dragon boat crew consists of 10 or 20 rowers, a coxswain and a drummer. In order to win the race, the whole crew must muster its strength and move in perfect synchronicity.

* Regarding the gender categories;
　・For open teams there are no gender limitations (including steerer and drummer).
　・A mixed team must contain a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 female paddlers (The drummer and steerer do not fall into the team’s gender category). For small boat race, this shall be 4 to 6 females.
　・A Women’s team must be composed of 100% female participants, including paddlers and drummers. (The steerer can be of any gender.)
* Regarding the age categories;
　・The age of the youngest paddler in the team will determine team's age category (the ages of the drummer and steerer are not taken into consideration).
　・The age category entered must be either the actual age category or a younger age category.

Nothing in particular. Provided, however, that persons with heart disease wearing a pacemaker are not allowed to participate for to avoid sudden physical burden.
Those who apply individually will be randomly assigned to a team by the executive committee.

Age Requirement

Minimum age is 30 (born on or before 31st December 1992)
In line with the sport-specific rules, an athlete must compete in their designated age group, with your age determined as at 31st December 2022.
For example, if you are 39 during Games time but have turned 40 by 31st December 2022, you would compete in the 40+ age category.
* Paddlers, drummers, steerers, all players must be at least 30 years old.

[Remarks]
　The representative shall make the entry and the crew list and their IDs shall be verified.

Life jackets (floating vests) need to be prepared by the athletes in principle, however, the organizer rents out some life jackets at the race site with the following conditions.
・Contact the organizer at the race site on the race day (pay the fee if you need a manually inflatable life jacket)
・Receive and return the life jacket for each race. Please follow the instruction of the organizer.
