Postponement has been decided for the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai.
The new dates are being arranged.
Please note that the followings are the information before the postponement was confirmed.

Triathlon is an endurance sport where each competitor performs in the three events of swimming, cycling (bicycle road racing) and running (long-distance running), in that order and without any breaks. In the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai, the standard course will be 51.5km long in total, consisting of swimming (1.5km), cycling (40km) and running (10km), and the sprint course will be 25.75km long in total, consisting of swimming (0.75km), cycling (20km) and running (5km).

Triathlon
[Domestic Athletes]
・The athletes must have 2022 JTU memberships.
・The athletes must enter JTU membership numbers (10 digits and 2 digits) at registration.
Furthermore, prior to the JTU's registration start for 2022, the athletes must enter the membership numbers (10 digits and 2 digits) valid at the time of entry. After JTU membership registration for 2022 is completed, athletes must re-enter membership numbers at 'registration status' of the entry system.
・The athletes must be finishers of 2019 or 2021 JTU Age Group Ranking Race.
Furthermore, even if modifications of event or distance of the Age Group Ranking Race are made, the athlete is eligible.
・For 2020, the following events were planned as JTU Age Group Ranking Races and finishers are eligible: Suigo-Itako Triathlon, Osaka Castle Triathlon, Nagaragawa International Triathlon.
・Any athletes who are not finishers of the above mentioned events cannot participate in this race.
・The qualifications for those with disabilities who participate in the general division are based on the qualifications for the general division.
・Draw a marker on your own column of the overall result of the target tournament and upload it at the time of entry.
・Registration of athletes who are not finishers of the above mentioned events will be canceled.

[Overseas Athletes]
・The athletes must register for JTU one day memberships (registration fee: 1,000 yen).
In case of registration at JTU in 2022, we will refund this fee in athlete briefing.

Paratriathlon

Age Requirement

Minimum age is 30 (born on or before 31st December 1992)
In line with the sport-specific rules, an athlete must compete in their designated age group, with your age determined as at 31st December 2022.
For example, if you are 39 during Games time but have turned 40 by 31st December 2022, you would compete in the 40-44 age category.
