Sport Overview

Postponement has been decided for the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai.
The new dates are being arranged.
Please note that the followings are the information before the postponement was confirmed.

Race walking is an athletics discipline that involves racing on foot. During the race, at least one foot must always be touching the ground. Referees keep a sharp eye on competitors and issue a red card to anyone who clearly breaks the rules. If it is confirmed that a competitor has received a red card from three or more referees, the competitor is disqualified.

Participation of athletes who can follow the Race Walking Rules is highly recommended.

Minimum age is 30 (born on or before 18th May 1992)
