Postponement has been decided for the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai.

In tug of war, two teams of eight people compete by pulling a rope from both sides to move it towards their side. Owing to the fact that tug of war is a team sport, the rules are very simple and the game can be made fair relatively easily by allocating members with similar abilities to each team, among other reasons, it is a popular sport all around the world. On the other hand, however, high-level tug of war games involve many techniques and strategies, giving the sport a profound nature.

| Access | ・From Kintetsu Nara Station, exit through East Gates and proceed to the ground floor of exit 2. Then proceed south on Higashimuki Shopping Mall, face the statue of Gyokibosatsu on your right. After a while, you will reach Sanjo Street, take a left on it. When Sarusawa Pond will be visible on your right, turn right and proceed toward the south. Then turn left at the corner of KOTOWA Nara Park (wedding hall), you will see the Nara visitor Center & Inn building. (8 minutes walk) ・From JR Nara Station, proceed to East Gate, cross the traffic light in front of the Nara City Tourist Information Center and go east on Sanjo Street. When Sarusawa Pond will be visible on your right, turn right and proceed toward the south. Then turn left at the corner of KOTOWA Nara Park (wedding hall), you will see the Nara visitor Center & Inn building. (16 minutes walk) |
